TikTok comment monitoring tool for agencies

AuraWatcher watches the comment sections of every TikTok profile your agency manages, detects when negativity starts to surge, and gives you a report you can put in front of the client. No account passwords, no contracts, no integration work.

The problem with checking comments by hand

Manual checking of TikTok comments fails for two structural reasons: it covers only the newest post, and it happens only during working hours. A comment monitoring tool removes both limits by reading every tracked post continuously and interrupting the team only when the volume of negativity leaves the normal range.

The daily picture looks like this. An agency that runs five client accounts on TikTok has, on a normal week, several hundred posts still collecting comments. Nobody on the team reads all of them. In practice the community manager opens the app, scrolls the newest replies under the newest post, answers what is visible, and closes the app.

Two things get lost in this routine. The first is the comment that arrives under a video published three weeks ago, because TikTok keeps pushing old posts back into the feed and old posts keep receiving new reactions. The second is the shape of the reaction as a whole. One angry comment means nothing. Forty angry comments in two hours under the same post is a different event, and by the time it is visible by scrolling, the client has usually seen it first.

A monitoring tool exists to remove exactly this blind spot. It reads continuously, it counts, and it interrupts you only when the numbers stop looking normal.

What an agency needs from comment monitoring

An agency needs four things from comment monitoring: all client profiles in one dashboard, no access to client accounts, an alert threshold set separately for each client, and an output that can be shown to the client. Most tools on the market were designed for enterprise brand teams and cover only the first of these four.

  • Every client in one place. One dashboard with all monitored profiles and their current status, so the morning check takes one minute instead of five app logins.
  • No account access. Clients rarely want to hand over credentials, and agencies rarely want to hold them. Monitoring of public comments should not require any login to the client account.
  • A threshold per client. A cosmetics brand with a calm audience and a fast food brand with a loud one cannot share the same alert level. The tool has to be tuned per profile, otherwise you either drown in noise or miss the real thing.
  • Something to show the client. Monitoring that lives only inside your team produces no visible value. The output has to become a line in the monthly report.

How AuraWatcher works

AuraWatcher works in four steps: you add the public handle of a client profile, the AI reads and scores every comment, a surge above the normal level of that profile triggers an alert, and the stored history turns into the monthly client report. Setup requires no passwords and no integration, because only publicly visible comments are read.

1. Add the public handle of the client profile

You type the TikTok username and monitoring starts. There is no login, no token exchange and no approval step on the client side, because only publicly visible comments are read.

2. The AI reads and classifies every comment

Each comment is scored from 1 to 100 and sorted into risk types: physical threats, legal threats, allegations, boycott calls, harassment, complaints and other risk signals. The model was tuned on internet language, so sarcasm, slang and emoji do not pass as neutral.

3. A surge triggers an alert

The system knows the normal level of negativity for that specific profile and reacts when the current level rises above it, in tiers from 1.5x to 8x. Alerts arrive by email, browser push and Telegram, with a written summary of what is happening.

4. The history becomes your report

Every scan is stored, so a comment stays with you even when it later disappears from the post. At the end of the month you export a brand safety report instead of writing one from memory.

Why not a social listening platform

Social listening and comment monitoring answer different questions: listening finds where the brand name was mentioned across the internet, monitoring reads everything written under the posts of one specific account. For an agency responsible for a client account, the second question is the one that gets asked in a crisis.

Social listening platforms (tools that search mentions of a brand name across the whole internet, such as Brandwatch or Sprout Social) are wide and shallow by design, and their price reflects the volume of the internet they crawl.

Comment monitoring is narrow and deep. It watches one place, the comment section under the posts of your client, and it watches it with history. For an agency this is usually the more useful of the two, because a client crisis on TikTok almost never starts on a blog. It starts under the last video.

Pricing for agencies

Agency plans start at 200 dollars per month for five monitored profiles and go up to 700 dollars per month for twenty, with a custom tier above that. Every plan includes the full AI engine, so the difference between tiers is the number of profiles, the depth of each scan and how often the scan runs, not the intelligence behind it.

Questions agencies ask

Do we need access to the client TikTok account?

No. AuraWatcher reads only publicly visible comments, so you add a profile by its public handle. Nothing has to be requested from the client, which also means you can monitor a prospect before they become a client.

How many client profiles can we monitor?

Five on the Radiance plan and twenty on Supernova. Above twenty profiles we build a custom plan around your roster.

What happens if the client deletes the negative comments?

The comments we captured stay in your history, with the moment we saw them, so they survive the cleanup of the comment section. To be precise about the limit: we hold a copy of what was visible during a scan, we do not prove which comments were later removed.

Will we get an alert for every angry comment?

No, and this is intentional. Alerts fire on a surge above the normal level of that profile, and you set the floor per client. A single complaint under a post does not wake anybody up.

Which platforms are covered?

TikTok is fully supported today. Instagram, YouTube, X and Threads are on the roadmap.
